This was a unique multi-phased project consisting of both new construction and renovation components. New construction included the erection of a new two-story, 16,000 square foot meeting house which provided classrooms and meeting areas; additionally, an enclosed breezeway was constructed to provide indoor circulation between meeting houses. The renovation component included an expansion of the narthex by 1,500 square feet to allow for circulation and fellowship time following services. An additional 2,000 square feet of office space was also remodeled to accommodate washrooms, a kitchen/storage area. There was also a build-out of the balcony at the existing meeting house to include risers and seating. Additional parking and sitework were needed to accommodate the added facilities. All construction was coordinated to allow all meetings and classes to proceed as scheduled.
